Just to get an idea on who knows how to play.
I only drink the blood of my enemies, and on occasion a strawberry smoothie.

I've played once or twice, some of the rules are fuzzy still...

My brother just got his own place this week; I am planning on doing some major cleaning and re-orging and so perhaps before this summer is over I would like to have hosted at least a couple of "poker nights" at Chez Dirt.

I'm guessing due to my usual weekends-I've-got-the-kids situation, it would be weeknights running from around 6pm until 10 or 11ish (depending on the luck of the "draw")... Anyone interested even remotely? I've been a real slacker in the "hosting my buds with some brews and social fun" category. :-\

Sounds like a plan, Stan. However the best days for me are Friday and Saturday.

There's a 40% chance of me having this Friday night "available" so if there's a few of you interested in a movie and/or poker night let me know... I'll clean up if at least 2 of you care to socialize at Chez Dirt ;)

Is this the Accu-Darren forecast? If so I'm interested.

Waiting for an email response back from somebody who is famously email-adverse ::)

I guess I could use the "phone" but that'll be like 90 minutes wasted fighting ;) ... tomorrow morning I'll know for sure. Guess I've got cleaning to do eh guys? ;D

YAY! Friday is a "go for launch". (I traded some of my Saturday morning to ensure it doesn't get "rained out".)

Anyone who needs my address please PM me.

My door will be "open" at 6:30pm to anyone who wants to partake... we'll order Pizza once all have arrives -- "on me", to offset all the generosity of Ustauk over the last little while :) -- and it's BYOB although I'm guessing I'll pick up a couple six of Kokanee Gold. If we've got enough and interest for Poker I'm thinking an even 20 buy-in. And I've got a hundred movies to choose from either way.

Your exhausted host,
Dirt.

Hello busy people of Edmonton... Can the folks who plan on coming over on Friday please PM me the time they plan on arriving, and whether or not you have a preference re. the activities (i.e. Poker is my preference, but if all anyone wants to do is watch Serenity -- haha Mr. A j/k, I meant "any movie but Serenity"). :)

Also if you have a weird favorite munchie feel free to bring it along although I will be providing Coke, 7-Up, ripple chips with Ranch dip, and pretzels (plus the pizza I'll order later).

Anyhoo, time to go home and do some cleaning...

I choose to make my response public:

I will attend.

Anytime after 4:30 is ok.

I will need a ride.

I will pick up my own booze (Rum & Coke probably)

Poker's the name of the game! Movies I can watch any time.

Do you allow smoking? The only thing that goes better than friends and poker is a fine Cuban cigar.
