We get temporary boost powers through items called "inspirations", they can boost HP, defence, ability accuracy, damage boost, etc...

A base gives us a place where we can use our infamy / influence to "buy" in zones that wouldn't normally have a place that dispences inspirations

Oh, so he meant "dispense inspirations" when he typed "dispend insperations".  Funny how now that I know what he meant, the original spelling doesn't seem so weird :P

As far as I know, dispend refers to the action of dispencing? I could be wrong.

Fellow villians send me your salvage.

OR

First Convert it into Tech Material or Tech Power at the workbench and trade me that. Converting it can be usefull for freeing up space in your salvage inventory.

You can't have more than 20 of an item.

Ok to balance the costs out I removed the workshop for now after building some basic teleport pad plans..

We now have one functioning teleport pad and it is linked to mercy island and cap diable. This should help those with new lower level characters get around a little faster.

To use the teleport pad you must click the display.. To do this zoom in on the display because it is currently bugged. It will teleport to to some central place on the map... NOT where the base portal is, oddly enough.

This should make things easier for alts! When Next I log on I'll take some screenshots of the map so we can see exactly where the teleporters teleport to!

Just to clerify, why only those two locations?  As I know I've unlocked 5 map beacons for the SG.

One basic teleporter can only be linked to two becons.. we have 4 but not enough control to run two teleporters.

Transporter 2 is online.. Sharkhead Island is now available from the base.

I should be able to add Port Oakes Shortly when we have enough funds.

Remember to collect the eploration badges in SG mode when in new zones to add new possible locations to the base.

This is partially right.  As long as you are a part of an SG, and do the exploration, your SG gets the zone beacon.  You do not need to be in SG mode to unlock this stuff (unless a patch changed it, but I know I did Sharkhead with Melbosa, not in SG mode, and got the badge for the SG).

Interesting, because there have been threads in the forums for a long time about RE-Colleting the badges in SG mode to get the beacons..  At anyrate its fun to get new ones.. I am not sure I like where it dumps you in the zones, but it should save some people some travel time now.. Or so I hope.. I could have really used it for some of the delivery missions, and some other missions that jumped back to mercy island.

Port Oakes is now connected to the system for TP.


I have gathered the Nerva beacon but need more control and another TP before I can connect it.

Gathered the the St. Martial beacon so we now have all of them.. Well until more zones are added.

Nerva and St. Matial are not connected to a teleport unit yet. I have rearanged the base again ... it is sort of in a sate of flux at the moment I am trying to plan out the best use of space.

As a reminder the Teleport units are bugged.. There are two main ways to activate them

1. Stand behind or beside the unit and click on the back or side of the computer console in the unit.

2. Stand in the unit and zoom in to first person view.. You should now get the hand icon when mousing over the consol.

I have placed the beacon pictures on the wall accros from the units.

I'm not sure if this affects the base, but the group got the following badge when I was playing today.

Improved Igniter    Your group has earned over 100,000,000 influence. The improved igniter is just what you big spenders need.

PS: Incidentally, Boratis dinged thirty yesterday.

That badge allows us to build a better defence item, but we are not even close to having a raidable base.

If anyone wanted something to work toward it would be the SG healing badges.. I think Sacrom is the only almost the only member with a healing power from what I have seen, but I could be wrong.. Getting the healing badges would increase the usefulness of making a med lab, because by default it is rather useless with the basic features.

Currently a second teleport room for one more teleporter (for the last 2 beacons) is on my list, then I will rebuild the workshop....

If there's anything I can do to help with the creation of the new teleport room (the Silver Mantis strike force is a great way to earn influence I found) just let me know. Now that I know how to use 'em, the teleport system has proven itself to be ridiculously useful. Especially due to the recent bug that showed up after last patch that knackered up the ferries.

Totally worth re-running through that arduous platform-fulla-guns at the end of the Silver Mantis SF just for the bling to buy the new teleport room.

Hey guys, I'm curious, do I need to transfer all my Salvage to one of you that is actually ABLE to get into the base? I have a bunch, and it's just collecting dust, in fact I'm thinking of being Santa this week and flying around in my Magic Jetpac(tm) and dropping random salvage on the  little heroes of the early teens and pre-teens... So let me know cuz I've got quite a bit, wanna give it to someone who can use it :)

Salvage is mostly useless until you have power, control and a teleport room.. The fist USEFULL thing you can craft is the zone teleporters.. Other than that most things are raid related.

The St. Martial and Nerva TP Becons have been attached in the SG base.. You can now transport to those zones through our base.

No worries, just trying to get to forty in time for issue 7:)  At level thirty five or so, you have no longer earn infamy in super group mode, so I've been alternating missions between super group mode and infamy generating mode.  I've had enough infamy to keep my ehancements up to date.  I'm glad I generated enough infamy that Lazy still had something to play with after I payed the rent, to:)
