Wasn't into Babylon 5 very much. Might be more of  did Family Guy introduce a new model to drive up interest in shows?

Cancel them early before the ratings drop off then bring them back with all the extra publicity.

I enjoyed B5 quite a bit, it was on when everything else sucked ass. This quote however made me laugh:
