Heroscape for sale?
« on: December 20, 2006, 12:40:23 PM »
Anyone interested in selling me some of their Heroscape gear?

If you got booster packs or terrain tiles that just aren’t getting any play I wouldn’t mind taking them off your hands. You can come visit them when ever we have a game ;)

Basically i want to beef up the common squads a little more. With our recent rule "One Unique per team" and who knows, maybe even "One Unique per game" some day. Common squads will become very important and i think we'll see drafts go more in that direction. It would be nice to have 3 or more squads of knights to draft when they are available, just opens your options a little.

As far as terrain goes, you can never get too much of that. Wal-Mart is selling master sets for $30 now BTW, it might have been a sale, but i think regular price hovers around $40.

Which BTW, Master sets have been flying off the shelve at Wal-Mart, everytime i go in i check the stock and it will be full, then the next visit empty and i've seen that cycle a few times now. Could mean good news for the games staying power and local availability.

I'll do you one better druid.  I will DONATE my master set and the few expansions I got.  I have Knights which I know you are looking for, and a bunch of other stuff.  The least I can do with you buying all the stuff, and me never using it.

That’s Awesome!
Thanks Shayne!

Rest assured they will be assimilated into the collective, and available for duty immediately. :D

As mentioned before i really want to beef up commons. I think it will give us much more play options. Im finding that too many unique cards in your draft is actually a hindrance. The way turns and rounds play out, its too much to try and move 5 or 6 unique cards onto the battle field. Your options are also limited because you present your opponents with a wide array of targets, some of which you will have no choice but leave turn markers off them for that round due to other priorities.

By stacking more common squads your turn management is much more easier and yet just as deadly, especially when you factor in hero binding. It's just the way i see my game evolving anyways. But in order to make this viable two of each squad just wont cut it, especially if an opponent is going after the same combo. Wheather his hero binds or not *looking your way surfer* ;)

I'll give you my tiny collection as well.  I've got a master set, the knights common squad, and the heroes of Barrenspur.
