Got Heroscape Pictures?

I’m putting together a user's gallery over at Heroscapers.com http://www.heroscapers.com/gallery/index.php?cat=10260

and im wondering if any of you have pictures from any of our previous games? I rounded up as many as i could find on my computer, but i remember that several games others were taking pictures as they were trying out their new cameras and such. Unfortunately during those games usually i didn’t take any pictures myself, so if you have any hanging around could you please sent them to me.

Any pictures that show our faces im editing to hide our identities by placing snippets of Heroscape figures over top. Luckily most pictures to date are exclusively off maps or faces half cut off. But there are a few full frontal shots.

Im also planning on posting a games gallery archive here once i get all the pictures in order.

So let me know if you want to donate some pics and i'll get them posted. If you don’t want them showing up on the Heroscapers.com gallery let me know.

I got shots from the November 11 and November 24 games, I believe those to be the most recent (besides the one from Friday).  Attached is a zip file with all the images (i ran them through an optimizer to take the file size down from ~4MB to ~250KB as well as shrunk them down to a reasonable 1280x857 instead of the normal 3872x2592.  Its just a dump of these pictures you will need to go through and keep the ones you want. Many are crap as I was learning to use a semi-professional camera and relied heavily on the "auto" features and it shows in many shots.

I have the originals still if you want them too.  Just let me know (that zip will be 500MB or so).

Great, thanks guys. Ive been sizing the pictures to 640x480 and optimizing to about 60k - 110k I find its a nice thread friendly size, and the Heroscaper gallery displays them in a slightly smaller window anyways.

If we are going to do a round by round system like Lazy has suggested and we all agree would be pretty slick, I honestly think that a webcam mounted to the top of the roof and pointing straight down would be the best bet.

I couldn't find a wifi enabled camera by Logitech or Microsoft, but with a pretty simple USB extension cable and my/curtis laptop we can do all sorts of things.  No fus needed, and webcams are cheap, i was just over at Future Shop picking up Lost Planet and I scoped out the cameras and you can get a pretty good Microsoft on for $50.

Damn, i hit my 11MB upload limit at Heroscapers.com, guess i will have to trim out the fat and only post 2-3 pics of each map. Too bad though, i have so much more to post, 3 years worth!

we could just host the images somewhere else... more details when I get my server up and running.

Speaking of which you still want my old dell laptop for the heroscape timelaps camera... I think it could even host some images... I have a 54G wireless usb network card too that I am not using either.

Next Heroscape game I will bring it over... its my donation to the collection. Since I didn't get involved until you a massed your collection.
