Warner Home Video will release Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters for DVD on August 14th. The Aqua Teen Hunger Force Movie establishes the origins of the Aqua Teens and attempts to explain the back story to some age-old mysteries that have surrounded the Aqua Teens. Or does it? No one really knows. The two-disc set arrives with an anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 track. Bonus materials include deleted scenes, alternate endings, "Round Table Discussion - Making of the Movie" and "Star Studded X-Mas Spectacular" featurettes, a music video, behind-the-scenes/making of the music video, a photo gallery and trailers. In addition, the set includes a complete second feature film compiled from all the deleted footage! Retail is $29.98.

Celebrating one year later, a group of artists installed several LED-based artworks around Boston yesterday.

This is interesting - it seems that a group of artists have celebrated 1-31-07 in their own way and have created a series of political themed LED art sculptures and (you guessed it) placed them all over Boston. "Where Were You When..." 

Peter Berdovsky (aka Zebbler or that Dude With the Huge Dreadlocks) sent out an electronic postcard reminding us of the day the city of Boston was felled by an ill-conceived promotional stunt for the "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" movie. Berdovsky and his accomplice-of-sorts, Sean Stevens, appear to have moved on with their lives, but, as shown in the image above, they still can't resist that little electronic critter who gives everyone the finger.

Berdovsky in particular isn't shy of self-promotion and has been trying to make the mooninites work for him. He's starting a record label, named Vermin Street in honor of Boston, and is doing a show at the Good Life on Saturday, March 8. Even if the city would much rather Berdovsky move somewhere else (ahem ... Maureen Feeney ... ahem), it's unlikely that he will.

Meanwhile, look back with us as we remember when the Mooninites fell to earth, the mayor and the governor fought the Cartoon Network (and won), and Berdovsky and Stevens gave the media something they'd never forget.
