Doesn't exactly fit a lot of stuff or people...  Even just for one couple with no kids, this is pretty useless.  As a concept, to take a plane and use it as a car, this is a neat idea though.

James May's Big Ideas - Come Fly with Me
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9tElz3yqCI

he visits a wide variety of technology/models, from turbine powered flying saucers to "personal backpack helicopter" gadgets! Fun job he has...

sadly, Mr.May didn't have time to talk to "Nuclear engineer Mehran Keshe [who] has designed plasma reactors which by gravitational positioning are able to generate proper magnetic and gravitional fields around the reactor and the spacecraft to counter Earth's Magnetic and gravitational field forces."

I clicked a handful of links, especially under "New Horizons" and "Applications" ... and either (a) this guy and his foundation are brilliant world-changers and the future might be far more futuristic than scientists think, or (b) it's another TimeCube kind of thing. really hoping it's (a), I gotta admit. ...Can't decide either way though; gravity explained = my brain kinda hurts now. (Maybe I need to watch the explanatory videos?)

Yeah, I'm thinking "quack" is the right term to apply.

Funny that none of his discoveries are published in any verifiable way...
