Interesting I guess, not sure if I'm sold on the whole kinect+voice thing though, just give me a keyboard.

I played with it a little, and the limited set of commands on the current dash work well, unless your daughter is shouting negative commands "XBOX NO" "XBOX Cancel" while you are trying to navigate.

Ambient sound can be a problem then I guess

There is a full audio ambient noise setup wizard... If tunes in rather well... Now random Ambient noise, that is still a problem.

We found "UFC Trainer" at the library last weekend, my son was trying to watch the intro/tutorial videos and I kept saying "XBOX SKIP VIDEO"  ;D   (so it's not just kids causing Kinect users voice-control grief...)
