I *really really* miss the days of tactile interface.

Obviously touch interface is a lot more flexible I know, but still, I liked having control in my hands. Also I liked being able to read things in the sun.

For pounding out large amounts of text I agree, however on my phone the issue of blind dialing is solved with voice dialing and I really find my touch screen keyboard more pleasing than any of the mobile keyboards simply due to side. My thumbs over lap more than one key and the touch screen is smart-enough to handle the over lap where I find I hit the wrong key often on something like a Blackberry.
