Well, there's something I would've never thought to turn into a game...

You can also ride the trolley in Fort Edmonton Park through a recreation of early 20th century Edmonton, and you can also get a hold of Tom's friend and take an actual trolley across the top of the High Level Bridge still, I think.

1915...  Was it still Strathcona south of the river and Edmonton north of the river?

...

This map from the 1915 Atlas of Canada says no: http://ftp.maps.canada.ca/pub/nrcan_rncan/raster/atlas_2_ed/eng/peopleandsociety/culturalgeography/page77_78.jpg.  Although this map clearly shows future plans, not just what existed at the time, since it shows Hawrelak Park built up and no Blatchford Field.  If you zoom in you can see all the places the trolley went, as well!

And here's a really good PDF showing the historical annexations: http://webdocs.edmonton.ca/InfraPlan/SmartChoices/Audit/maps/report1map02.pdf

Edmonton and Strathcona merged in 1912, I guess.

The trolley still goes over that bridge. I got to take a trip on one before they sent that one particular car back to germany.

"ride" or "DRIVE"? ;)

Yeah that trolley is still running during summer months. It goes super-slow though, only "fun" for the toddlers and the vertigo-sufferers perhaps.
